Emilio Pucci Designer Profile
The Evolution of Pucci
Emilio Pucci launched his label in 1947, a time when fashion became a primary focus among everyday living. It wasn’t long after the launch in 1947 that Pucci’s designs became popular among men and women worldwide. His wide collection of haute couture styles became a huge hit among some of the most important people in the industry.
Emilio was the first fashion designer to introduce capris. Pucci decided to open his first boutique in Capris. It was here that he developed the idea for Capri designs and ultimately called his creation the same name – capris. Today, capris remain an essential part of every wardrobe and are one of the most popular pieces of clothing on the market.
Like many other high profile designer labels such as Celine, DKNY and Christian Dior, the Pucci label is now owned by LVMH (Moet Hennessey – Louis Vuitton). LVMH is the fastest growing designer label company in the world and is expected to become the largest luxury designer label on the market.
Emilio Pucci’s Signature Style
Emilio Pucci has successfully developed his very own signature style. His incredible ability to transform images with fashion is unreal. Emilio has created amazing pieces for some of today’s most prestigious celebrities. Jennifer Lopez, Kristen Davis and Isabella Rossellini are some of the A-list celebrities choosing to model Emilio’s ravishing creations.
Emilio’s geometric, vintage designs are popular all over the world. He uses a variety of colors in each piece which are generally bright pinks, greens and blues. His style can be best described as funky and unique. Emilio Pucci is dedicated to offering consumers an alternative to ordinary (and somewhat boring) styles. His designs are 100 percent unique and are exclusive to the Pucci label.
